An improvement in these variables will in turn positively influence the current state of political turmoil in a number of countries.

The purpose of the revolutionary science produced by the Giampapa research team has been to focus on improving the quality of health throughout our lifespan rather than the length of life itself.

Increasing the overall quality of life, achieved through a human body’s natural regenerative mechanisms, is now possible. The ability to improve life through the goal of enhancing aged adult stem cell functions has broad benefits to everyone. A healthier humanity means longer periods of productivity and higher quality of life while reducing healthcare and related costs.

Lord Lee-Benner, M.D. F.A.C.E.

Dr. Lee-Benner began private practice in 1972, after residency training in neurosurgery, radiology, neurology and psychiatry. He initially worked with seniors who were bed-ridden which gave him a sense of the helplessness and frustration that comes with old age and frailty. For the more than thirty-five years, he has pioneered in the field of “Clinical Age Management.”

When Dr. Lee-Benner became acquainted with the free-radical damage theory of aging(Harman, 1956), he theorized the free-radical connection to aging was also the underlying cause of Alzheimer’s diseaseas wellas other neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson’s, ALS and Multiple Sclerosis, as well as atherosclerosis, immune decline of aging and cancer.

During his career as a practicing physician, he became one of the first doctors to use nutritional medicine and emphasize the use of essential nutrients to control free-radical damage.

As a neurologist and psychiatrist in the 1970’s, many of his patients were challenging diagnostic and therapeutic dilemmas, requiring him to master the skills of clinical endocrinology. He hypothesized the Growth Hormone Theory of Aging and wrote the first textbook on anti-aging treatment in 1974.

As an established pioneer in the field, he has been on the teaching staff as an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania for 9 years; published numerous scientific articles and two textbooks which have been used in medical school curricula throughout the country as well as a book for the general public; taught hundreds of physicians his techniques and has been an invited speaker and participant in many national and international meetings.

In addition to his clinical practice, he has continued to maintain an active interest in science devoted to the latest in biomedical research, and in real interventions he can apply to benefit his patients; earned over 200 hours each year in continuing education credits and has been conducting ongoing drug trials as a principal investigator for the Pharmacia-UpJohn Pharmaceutical Company’s FDA approved study for human growth hormone. To view Dr. Lee-Benner’s elegant presentation in which he discusses reasons why we age, and some possible solutions to extend human life span, please click on the following link:
